Tsambika Beach

Tsambika Beach is not far from Leonardo Kolymbia Resort – about ten minutes by car. It is a wide stretch of soft, golden sand and shallow crystal-clear water, safe for swimming and snorkelling.

Beachgoers will find here all the facilities necessary for a stress-free day at the beach: sun loungers and parasols for rent, showers, dressing rooms, and all sorts of beachside cantinas with cute décor lined up along the coast with a diverse offer of snacks, drinks, and treats.

Lovers of watersports will appreciate Tsambika Beach too. Besides swimming, you can partake in all kinds of activities here, including parasailing, water-skiing, banana boat rides and other crazy rides. Children will have access to a delightful inflatable water park floating on the sea and featuring slides, climbing walls, trampolines, and other attractions, which even adults will enjoy.

The beach is at the foothills of the Tsambika Mount. If you look at the top of the mountain, you’ll notice the whitewashed walls of a chapel, dedicated to Kyra Panagia Tsambika. Some 300 steps will take you from the parking lot to the chapel – and they are worth the effort, as the views of the sea and mountains from here are beyond spectacular.

Although Tsambika Beach is popular, it is long and wide enough to provide plenty of space to play volleyball, soccer, and other beach sports. Children have enough room to play too.
